IMPORTANT PRICING UPDATE
From the bottom of our hearts, we would like to thank you for your ongoing support of our family business. You guys have helped us keep this farm running in our family for 100 years.
As many of you are aware we have been open for pick your own now for 10 years. In that time, we have never increased our pricing. We have been so lucky to have amazing parents and friends who have volunteered their time to us over the past 10 years so that we could afford to keep prices low. Although you will still see them around the place, it’s time now for them to retire and spend more time away from the workload.
Unfortunately it has come to a time where we need to make changes to continue to trade, support our family and improve our business.
The cost of living and expenses of farming have increased significantly and has come at a huge impact to us.
As of 12th of May 2023 you will see an increase in Entry Fees to the farm. We will only be giving out 1 free picking bag per 2 adults and all other bags will need to be BYO or purchased from the entry counter. All patrons who visit the farm will be expected to pay entry unless there to simply purchase from the shop or café. (Picnics without a purchase or entry fee are no longer allowed as we are not a public park but a business.)
I’m sure you are all aware of the rising costs and the impacts it is having on small business and families alike.
Once again, we appreciate your continued support and understanding and hope that these changes do not deter you from continuing to visit our farm in the future.

from the booking site.
All extra food packages on farm require notice which is specified per activity on the booking page.
This is an all weather event and we do not provide refunds or transfers due to weather. If you are concerned about weather
please don't book until the day before. Please see our policies on booking. Please dress to the conditions and bring spare shoes if wet, hats water and sunscreen.
NO DOGS. We love dogs but we have our own. Please don't bring your dog to the farm.
Bookings are 100% essential for fruit picking
For loyalty card holders please only select 1 loyalty card unless you have extra people coming with you.
If you text or call on a weekend please don't expect an instant reply. We
get very busy and I am unable to answer calls or check messages regularly.
GRAZING/DESSERT/SANDWICH BOXES must be booked with 24 hours notice.
We also have playgroup days, our school holiday program, high tea, orchard picnics and Party/team Building packages available. Please see www.bookingscanoelands.com to see what else is available
Please take the time to read EVERYTHING on this page. I recieve many messages a day and find it difficult to respond as well as work (I pick and pack, serve, take bookings, do honey bottling/deliveries, staff rosters, ordering and bookwork ), Mum (and sleep sometimes. Ha Ha!!). Most of the questions are answered here. Don't hesitate to text message 0419688039 if you can't find an answer here though. I will respond ASAP. I can't listen to voice messages so please text instead. We need you to be aware of our rules prior to your visit so you know how it all works. Please read our policy and all signage on arrival also. Thankyou for your understanding. Jaime...
Bookings for special
occasions, weddings, large groups (over 20) or tour groups can be made via text or email if you can't make them in the bookings link.
Pricing may vary if there is an extreme circumstance but our usual pricing is
ENTRY Adult $10, Child (3-15) $5, under 3 free
$6/kg for stone fruit, (nectarines, plums, peaches)
$6/kg for tomatoes
$15/kg Strawberries and
$6/kg most citrus
25/kg finger limes
YOU ARE REQUIRED TO PURCHASE EVERYTHING YOU PICK.
We ask that you respect our orchard, although we understand you wish to taste the fruit we ask
that you taste only one, ( NO STRAWBERRY TASTING PERMITTED AS THERE IS JUST NOT ENOUGH). The rest you are required to purchase. We dont want to see our fruit which is only on the trees once a year all over the ground and wasted. Please understand that this
is once a year income for us and if you are caught disrespecting the orchard we do have the right to ask you to leave. We also want you to be aware that if you pick in an undesignated area and the fruit is immature you will be charged $20/kg. We know many
cultures like green plums and small green nectarines but if these were to be full size then they would weigh 4 times as much so we will charge more. Our major season only lasts 10 weeks max a year and we require the income to survive till the next one. We
appreciate your understanding on this. We don't like to post this sort of thing although we work hard all year to produce the fruit and it is very heart breaking for us to see it droppped all over the orchard or picked at a tiny size or unripe without prermission
from owners. If you dont want to buy it please dont pick it. If you are not told you can pick it on that day then it is not ready.
This is an ALL WEATHER event. Please dress to the conditions and
bring spare shoes in wet weather. We don't provide refunds for bad weather. Mother Nature can't be controlled.
Thank you and we hope to see soon
Jaime and the Canoelands team
