General Bookings are non transferable or refundable unless there is extenuating circumstances which will be up to our discretion. This is an all weather event so please dress to the conditions. We can't control the weather so last minute cancellations will not be refunded. Best to book after you see the forecast if you are concerned about weather. Thanks for your understanding on this.
Canoelands Orchard Waiver and Visitor Obligations.
Canoelands Orchard, N and J Christie Pty Ltd, 27-31 Canoelands Road Canoelands NSW 2157, will be relieved of any and all legal liability should injury or death occur during your attendance.
The SAFETY OF VISITORS AND STAFF IS A HIGH PRIORITY AND A RESPONSIBILITY SHARED BY EVERY PERSON VISITING THE FARM. ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK.
-Mobile phone reception is limited to Telstra. In an emergency call 112.
This will send your location directly to emergency services on any service provider.
-While all care is taken, we are a working farm and your safety while on the property is your responsibility.
-Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.
-Sensible supportive footwear (eg boots, joggers) hats, water and sunscreen are necessary.
-Sometimes grounds can be uneven so caution should be used when walking on the property. This can be elevated during wet weather. Canoelands Orchard will not be held liable for trips, slips or falls resulting in injury.
-Patrons with low or compromised mobility should see staff on arrival to arrange support to get to and from the pick zone. They must have someone able bodied to support them whilst in the pick zone.
-There are risks for people with mobility needs. While we do all that we can to minimize risks, we are a working farm and all risks cannot be eliminated.
-No climbing trees at any time.
-No climbing or riding on any farm machinery or equipment.
-While your safety is our priority embarking on our tractor ride is at your own risk.
-Feeding of animals is at your own risk. Animals can be unpredictable.
-Feeding of fruit / food to animals is not accepted and may cause them to fall ill.
-Entry and access to all sheds and animal paddocks is strictly prohibited.
-No access to private dwellings or surrounds.
-No access to dams or waterholes and supervision of children is essential.
-Please leave bags in a safe place in the orchard should they be too heavy and ask staff to assist you to collect them.
-Tour, Bus, group and Coach bookings are required to pass this information to guests and ensure they understand all policies we have in place prior to their arrival at the orchard. The operator or organizer is required to request a copy of the waiver for individual guests to sign or provide a list of guest names and sign on their behalf, meaning you take full responsibility for group members.
-As we are dealing with nature our crops can sometimes be unpredictable. We reserve the right to cancel or transfer bookings if circumstances change on site. (eg. if we sell out of fruit or we get wiped out by a storm) although we do our best to determine harvest timing.
-It is the responsibility of those placing the booking to ensure all guests are aware of the policies in place, list each attendee's name and sign the waiver on their behalf.
-Any form of disrespect to the property, staff or eating more than one piece of fruit while picking, we reserve the right to ask you to leave.
YOU MUST PURCHASE EVERYTHING YOU PICK.
-Please leave your ball at home. Throwing and kicking of balls or fruit while on the property may cause injury and is not allowed.
-All group reservations and private parties must be cancelled at least 48 hours prior to the event to be eligible for a full refund.
-Staff are to be treated kindly and respected at all times.
-Parking on the property is at your own risk. No valuables should be left in your vehicle.
-All fruit picked must be purchased as soon as you return to the shop. If anyone is caught putting unpaid for fruit in their vehicle we reserve the right to take photos of you and your number plate to report to police. This is stealing.
- Staff have the right to ask to check bags and vehicles at any time should they suspect wrongdoing. If you have done nothing wrong, then please don't feel distressed about this.
-If for any reason you are allowed to borrow one of our carts you are responsible for the yourself and the passengers safety and must return it in the same state as you borrowed it.
- Under no circumstances are children to ride in the picking trolleys at any time. Not only is this dangerous but it also breaks the wheels on the trolleys.

•comply with any reasonable instructions, policies and procedure given by the employer, business or organization.
